It also keeps the Perma Death so once your ship is dead or characters die they are dead and you have to start over. That being said I really enjoy the game more with this mod then the base game because I dont feel rushed. One thing I will say about this mod is that by the end of the game your ship is completely over powered and it does mess with the point system since your able to go to every sector and explore all the random events that happen. what do I mean by this is you start far away from the Federation and you have to make it back to them and have a final confrontation with the Reb(Cough!)Borg. In my opinion appllying this mod turns the game into the final Episode of Voyager.
But that being said I know of ALOT of people HATE the fact that they don't get enough time to just explore! So I went online for a few friends and found this basic mod that disables the Rebel Fleet from pursuring you ala the title of the mod. Okay so I LOVE this game and yes I've played it through multiple times before I applied this mod.
